Faith Formation

Faith formation occurs in the classroom, but our ministry happens beyond these walls.

Daily Religious Instruction

At Messiah Lutheran School, our students learn to serve God, their church, their community, and the world. Religious instruction is incorporated daily into the class curriculum, and our students learn to become empathetic, socially conscious thinkers with a firm foundation in the Christian faith.

Each child at Messiah learns that they are a redeemed child of God and gifted with abilities to share God's love with those around them. Class units focus on the Bible and its practical application. Daily devotions and prayer in homerooms reinforce and encourage students to use their God-given gifts to glorify Him.

“The strong foundation I received at Messiah allowed me to excel in high school and college. I will be forever grateful to the compassionate people that fostered an environment that pushed me to be a better student and grow as a woman of God.”
— Gabby Bayness, Messiah Lutheran School Alumna

Weekly Chapel Services

Each week, Messiah students attend a chapel service in the Messiah Lutheran Church Sanctuary. At these services, students glorify God through song, prayer, and scripture, and also hear God's Word in student-oriented messages presented by the Pastor and other members of Messiah staff. All are welcome to view chapel services Wednesday mornings (9:00 A.M.) during the school year.
