Welcome to Messiah Lutheran Church
We are an active community of believers working to live out the love of Christ in a local and global setting. Our purpose is simple: to love God, neighbor, and self. Our mission is to draw in to Christ, build up in Christ, and send out for Christ.
Messiah is a Christian community of over 1000 people who gather as church and school community in Fairview Park on the westside of Greater Cleveland and Cuyahoga County.
We invite you to join us for worship either in person or via the weekly Livestream of our worship services.
Messiah remains active in many other ways. To explore this, we invite you to sign up for our weekly emails. Our key ministry is Messiah Lutheran School, offering a superb Christ-centered education for children from Preschool through Grade 8. To learn more, visit the school website.

Pandemic Precautions
COVID infections in our area have plunged dramatically since the start of 2022. Beginning on March 6, Messiah is relaxing almost all our special precautions for in-person gatherings over the past two years. Masks are optional at all services this Lent except for the special Family Service on March 27 (see above). Use your own judgment regarding social distancing, hand-shaking, etc. Respect others for the choice they make in these matters. If you have a fever or other symptoms of an illness, or if you’ve been exposed to COVID within the past few day, please stay home.
